本设计主要解决如何方便、准确地指示乘客到站信息，公交车辆运行的信息化和可视化，实现面向公众乘客的完善信息服务等问题，具有自动报站以及显示行驶速度、时间、下一站到达时间等功能。系统使用GPS接收技术，精确地提取出所需的位置和时间、速度等数据，采用数字信号处理方式为乘客提供快捷、便利的服务。该系统具有高准确度和低成本的优点，是城市公交车系统的一种低成本解决方案。-The project aims at finding out the approach to offering information about arrival buses’ timely and accurately and the method of improving the practicability of the bus-stop. Automatically broadcasting name of station, display data such as time, speed, and the arriving time of next station made up its functions. The project also made use of the reception technology of GPS system to extract the required data, for instance, location, time and speed accurately. The project is expected to provide fast, convenient service for passengers using digital processing technology. The major advantages of this project is its high accuracy and low cost，it could be a low cost solution to automatically broadcasting name of station.
