Grab Libnet , there will be a site for it, it prolly even is simple as googling it :P and, just grab static lib file , and then goto winpcap.org , now, you can, compile a v3, (coz this has best control over winsockets....trust me it does) ... dont use later than even v3 beta if you can still find it...i have found it ,... and, you can then, like libnet, filter out sections,. wich will not be bneeded, in this case for pcap, i was able to remove UDP sniffing packet feature, well that is the job or, part of its job, to llow network sockets to run nicer...so, grab this and, this is also DUAL platform well, any os should be able to compile you may need to add -SOLARIS for solaris boxes in gcc...and ofcourse -llibnet -lpcap , and, thats pretty easy tho..just loo at the nice work of its coders tho..awesome!..
