This model simulates the detailed model of synchronous generator. This is full order model of the machine. AVR (Automatic voltage regulator) and speed governor are also modelled. Please follow the steps
1. Run the scr ipt
2. enter the time at which the machine is synchronized to the mains
3. run the model
Observe the transients during the synchronization.
All the parameters of the machine are given in pu. the generator is modelled in dq reference frame. The name of the reference book which the equations of the machine are derived is also given in the matlab scr ipt.-Detailed Model of Synchronous Generator including AVR and Governor
