Deploying S-BGP requires that a participating organization, e.g., an ISP, be able to manage certificates, AAs, CRLs, and S-BGP policy information. Therefore, in addition to the S-BGP router code, there are “NOC Tools” for use by an Internet Service Provider’s Network Operations Center (NOC). The goal of these tools is to make it easy for the operators to do this work while also controlling who has access to the S-BGP countermeasures data and who is allowed to perform various tasks.
