metre
- 用两个相互连通的桶型容器，一个开口、一个封闭，加入满的液体介质；另有一称量容器悬挂于由弹簧下，悬挂线在鼠标滚轴上绕1－2匝。在开口容器中放入固体可沉没的被测物体，把溢流出来的液体均匀注入称量容器，弹簧伸长后达到力学平衡，弹簧伸长量可被鼠标检测出来，经计算机程序计算即可测量固体体积；如果在封闭容器内通入气体，气体排开的液体会造成连通的开口容器内液体溢流，同样可以测量出气体的体积；测量液体被测物时，直接在称量容器内注入液体，可得到被测液体体积。
