You need a relatively-recent Linux kernel whose "ch341" module

supports control of the DTR/RTS modem control lines. Kernel

2.6.31 is known to work.



To build and install the software:



./configure && make

make install



("make install" needs to run as root.)



To run:



temper-read-temp /dev/ttyUSB0
