This paper shows an implementation and effectiveness analysis of people tracking in video sequences using an embedded system. The system was designed in Matlab environment with the Simulink model. After optimizations this model was adapted to the embedded system, which consists of DM6437 Evaluation Module and input and output video devices. During tests we analyze influence of additional image operations for a number of processed frames.
