随着公司的规模不断扩大，商品数量急剧增加，有关商品的各种信息量也成倍增长。面对庞大的信息量，就需要有商品信息管理系统来提高商品管理工作的效率。通过这样的系统，可以做到信息的规范管理、科学统计和快速的查询，从而减少管理方面的工作量。

本设计是一个基于Delphi的中小型药品超市管理系统。其开发主要包括前台应用程序的开发和后台数据库的建立与维护两个方面，对于前者要求应用程序功能完备，易使用等特点，对于后者要求建立起数据的一致性和完整性。

本设计中包括系统信息设置模块，库存管理模块，销售模块和其他信息管理模块。超市管理员通过这些模块进行各种信息的增加、删除、修改、查询等操作。本设计采用Borland Delphi7.0作为开发平台，SQL Server 2000作为后台数据库。
