Introduction to Dual-Core Development
This procedure will introduce tools that are useful for developing applications that can utilize both processing cores available with the OMAP 5912 processor. Introduced are the LinuxDSP tools for compiling DSP source code and DSP Gateway which allows the DSP processor to be controlled through Linux running on the ARM core. To use DSP Gateway, the Linux kernel is updated to version 2.6.12 and the necessary patches are applied to configure the kernel for the OMAP 5912.-Introduction to Dual-Core Development
