客户数据库更新等方面取得的研究成果。-The methods and key technologies of spatial database updating is an advanced international

academic topic in recent years. This paper introduces the major progress on the project

of the model and method of GIS spatial database updating which is supported by the National

Natural Science Foundation of China, including automatic registration of multi resource

remote sensed imageries and digitized maps, change detection and extraction of key geo- spatial

features in GIS environment, the incremental data modeling of master databases, and updating

of client databases, etc
