-Image inpainting refers to restore the color information of the damaged region in the image or remove the

unnecessary object in the image. A method is introduced to compute the main direction of the texture and complete

the image based on wavelet transform. The core of the algorithm relies on using texture detection in a coarse-to-fine

scheme. Experimental results show that the algorithm can obtain the satisfied restoration video frames.
